(Previous News) we have 3 new pekingese puppies. Born Friday June 5th (very early in the morning!). 2 girls and 1 boy..adorable! Here are some pictures of Dani & Daegan's new pups.

I thought I'd share a little about how I became involved in all this puppy stuff :) For the past few years, I'd raised Maltese and had always wanted a Pekingese. I started researching them, I attended college for Environmental and Animal Sciences, and was always taking tons of classes that allowed me to pick my own topic of interest. So, I kept writing and researching on Pekingese. I grew up in a small town and had been trying to find one for years locally with NO LUCK! I still loved Pekingese, had the cute puppy calenders of the breed, and was a part of a few Pekingese clubs online (i really love pekee's!!!) And after 7 years of research and longing, I found one from a breeder who had a stud in KANSAS and IOWA. I will never forget bringing my first pekingese home. She is tri colored and mostly red and white (black face and on back) I fell in love with her instantly. She had immaculate health records, and a perfect line of pedigree's dating back for years and years. I'd talked to the woman who had sold her to me frequently and decided I too would want to breed her someday. It took 4 years to find the right stud. He had to also have the highest quality in bloodlines/pedigree and I also wanted him to be completely different then her, so I bought an all Black Pekingese. He's quite striking!! Well.. they made history on their own, I just kept them healthy and made sure they were right for eachother to have healthy quality puppies.

These photos are all just snapshots. Our puppies get alot of attention! It's the best for puppies to be very loved and cared for, especially so they get used to being handled and can grow up to be good loving pets.
